Basically, every group, meeting and community lives from visitors. Without them, there can be no real growth in the community. Visitors often come because of a personal invitation, curiosity or personal needs. Unfortunately, it also happens that their motivation and motives are improper. As a result, there can be considerable unrest, discord and, in the worst case, division in the community. Clear words and announcements as well as early boundaries can prevent things from getting worse. The following short text is intended as a suggestion or possible template:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a congregation we are kindly asking...
\u2026 not to proselytize us. We do not need any new \u201ctruths,\u201d any additional books to the Bible, or any new \u201cprophets.\u201d
... not to provide us with information regarding the \"correct\" Biblical day of rest. We are deeply convinced that the Sabbath\/Saturday was, is and will remain God's day of rest. We keep it out of joy in our salvation in Jesus Christ and out of love for God our Father, not to be saved by Him.
\u2026 not to ask us for money. We are not a financial institution and do not lend money to anyone.
\u2026 to respect the integrity of other visitors, especially minors. Inconsiderate physical proximity can easily lead to misunderstandings.
